I bought these to finish the hems on my quilted jacket and the woven tag is surprisingly soft, no scratchy edges against the skin. The little "sur un malentendu ça peut marcher" line got a laugh out of my sewing group, and they held up fine through a gentle wash cycle.

Sewed one of these onto a linen pouch and the weave is dense enough that the little joke is still perfectly legible. The edges fray a bit if you don't fold them under, but that's true of any woven label.
