John R. ★★★★★

It was fascinating to see the original 19th-century machinery still in working order during my self-guided tour. The fact that you can wander freely on weekdays and the third Saturday makes it easy to fit into any schedule. A perfect way to spend a couple of hours.

I booked a Friday afternoon slot and was impressed by how much hands-on history is packed into the space. The self-guided format let me linger over the machinery details at my own pace.

Henry R. ★★★★★

The Monday afternoon slot was surprisingly quiet, and having the whole workshop floor to myself for nearly three hours made it feel like a private tour. I loved that they’re open until 18h, so I could take my time reading every display without rushing.
